What we want
wienXtra wants to encourage young people to make a contribution to shaping our city and our society. We offer fun-packed activities and provide spaces where young people can realise their potential. wienXtra works for the City of Vienna and cooperates closely with the Youth Section of Municipal Department 13.
What we do
wienXtra organises exciting leisure activities for children, families and young people the whole year round. In addition, wienXtra provides information and advice on a variety of issues and offers training courses for anyone living and working with children and young people.

Who we are
wienXtra‘s staff members are experts in children’s and youth work and close to the needs of Vienna’s young citizens. They are well-connected with other institutions of the City of Vienna and are committed to the interests of their target groups.

wienXtra stands for quality. Our activities are based on well-conceived ideas and educational know-how. By living the principles of participation, diversity and gender equality we ensure that our activities will appeal to and offer something for everyone.
What we consider important
To make our programmes accessible to really everyone, they are available at little or no cost. Culture, education and participation are not a privilege, but a right for everyone.
