Education pays off! The Institute for Leisure Education (Institut für Freizeitpädadogik – ifp) is wienXtra’s training centre. By providing the right mix of theory and practice it keeps leisure educators up to date with latest developments. The wide spectrum of activities ranges from comprehensive training courses, international experience exchange to topical conferences and discussions.

Games are fun and develop a large number of skills and abilities like concentration, team spirit, fine motor skills, etc. At exciting educational events, experts share their know-how in the field of educational play and show participants how to use games at work or in their leisure time with children and young people.

Media education for adults in theory and practice: whether you attend a basic class in media education, audio drama seminars, a video editing or Web 2.0 course – “do it yourself” is just as much part of the mz educational programme as methods, critical analyses or technical basics.
