What we want

wienXtra wants all young Viennese people to be able to organise and enjoy their leisure time according to their ideas and wants to help them find the right contact person for all of their questions. wienXtra works for the City of Vienna and cooperates closely with the Youth Section of Municipal Department 13.

What we do

wienXtra offers an extensive and diverse leisure programme for young people: concerts, sports events, parties, workshops, etc. In addition, we provide comprehensive information and consulting services on a large variety of issues such as accommodation, relationships, working abroad, and many more.  

Who is involved?

The staff members of our youth facilities design and develop, organise and coordinate exciting events and cooperate with numerous partners from various fields – and of course, with lots of young people, who like to organise, be creative and get involved. 

Who for?

wienXtra’s youth programme is targeted at young people aged 13 to 26. Choose from loads of different activities either following your preferences or trying something new. Whether you are interested in media, games, cinema or music – our programme has something for every taste.

What is important to us?

wienXtra makes sure that leisure activities are affordable for everyone. For this reason, nearly all programmes and activities are available at large discounts or for free. The free jiw vouchers entitle you to discounts on many activities and attractions all over Vienna.
