What we want

wienXtra wants children and families to feel at home in Vienna and to provide them with all sorts of ideas to enjoy their leisure time together. wienXtra works for the City of Vienna and cooperates closely with the Youth Section of Municipal Department 13. 

What we do

wienXtra’s children’s facilities offer an extensive and diverse leisure programme for children and families. Games and play, holiday activities or movies – wienXtra adds fun and excitement to big city life. In addition, we provide loads of information on everything going on for children in Vienna.

Who for?

wienXtra children’s and family programmes are targeted at adults and children up to the age of 13. The acitvities are tailored particularly to different age groups ranging from baby swimming classes for our youngest clients to parties for teenagers.

Who is involved?

The staff members of our children’s facilities design and develop, organise and coordinate exciting events and cooperate with numerous partners from various fields – from Vienna’s sports department and children’s university to Vienna’s municipal swimming pools and children’s and youth organisations.

What is important to us?

wienXtra makes sure that leisure activities are affordable for everyone. For this reason, nearly all programmes and activities are available at large discounts or for free. The free family-days card offers discounts for all families.
